Robinette has been a client of mine for a couple of years and so, I was thrilled when she contacted me about shooting her daughter’s wedding. We met up for coffee near my studio and made arrangements for an engagement session, wedding coverage, thank-you notes, and more.
With the wedding less than two months away, we shot the engagement session right away, and the images were used for gallery cards, little cards that get left on the tables and allow guests to use the listed link to have access to the wedding images afterwards. This takes all the bother of getting wedding images out to friends and family off of the bride and groom.
With the ceremony being held in the evening in January, I suggested taking formal portraits before the wedding began, so we wouldn’t be limited to shooting indoors. The couple was on board with that idea all the way.
After shooting several images with friends and family, I grabbed the bride and groom and commandeered a couple of golf carts and made our way around the grounds to shoot the two of them alone.
We wrapped up just in time for the ceremony to begin.
As the night wore on, these two enjoyed all the rituals as a new husband and wife, and the two families joined each other on the dance floor for a mix of hip-hop and Spanish music.
I grabbed these two and pulled them outside for one final portrait, before letting them go to finish their night off in celebration.
